The Ministry of National Defence (MApN) informed on Wednesday morning that its radar surveillance system detected a group of aerial targets north-east of the town of Vylkove, in the Ukrainian airspace.
According to a release sent to AGERPRES, the National Military Command Centre notified the Inspectorate General for Emergency Situations (IGSU) to implement measures to alert the population in the northern and eastern parts of Tulcea county. A RO-ALERT message was sent at 3.34am.
"No incursions into national airspace have been reported," the quoted source mentioned.
The air alert ended at 4.02am.
